Position

Paul Wanders is a partner in our Amsterdam office and focuses on real estate transactions. He practices commercial leasing law and is an experienced litigator in all kinds of real estate matters. He also advises clients on professional liability law, in particular for notaries, insurers, lawyers and real estate agents.

Paul lectures on landlord and tenant law at the University of Amsterdam for the Amsterdam School of Real Estate, the Estate Agency Training Centre and the Grotius Real Estate specialization course. He also is a legal adviser to the Amsterdam Association of Real Estate Agents.

Paul is involved on a regular basis in real estate related transactions for inter alia Peek & Cloppenburg, Aachener Grund, WP Carey, MPC, DBN, Union Investment, BouwInvest and others.

Career

Paul Wanders MRICS focuses on commercial property transactions. Besides commercial property transactions, Paul is an expert litigator in all kinds of property (finance) related matters with a focus on professional liability (of Notaries, real estate agents and lawyers). Paul also practices commercial tenancy law.

Paul is a Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. He lectures in landlord and tenant law at the University of Amsterdam for the Amsterdam School of Real Estate and at the Estate Agency Training Centre. He also is a legal adviser to the Amsterdam Association of Real Estate Agents and a member of the Civil Law Procedure Study Group.
