Position

Jia Xian is a partner in the Tax and Trusts, Estates and Wealth Preservation practice.

Jia Xian has advised on a wide range of tax matters both on a transactional as well as an advisory basis. Her tax practice covers all areas of Singapore tax including corporate and individual income tax, goods and services tax and stamp duty. She also advises frequently on international tax issues, particularly in the context of tax-efficient structuring of global and regional corporate groups for cross-border investments and transactions. She has also advised on other tax issues including tax incentive structuring and transfer pricing disputes. Aside from tax matters, Jia Xian also has experience in the specialist private client area, advising high net-worth families, private banks and trust companies on trust and estate planning matters.

Jia Xian’s broad scope of practice has allowed her to work with clients ranging from large multinational corporations, to individuals, small-and-medium sized enterprises and non-profit organizations, and across multiple industry sectors including aviation, insurance, energy, food and beverage, manufacturing, real estate, shipping, trading, and technology.

Jia Xian is an Accredited Tax Practitioner (Income Tax) with the Singapore Institute of Accredited Tax Professionals (SIATP) and is also appointed by the Ministry of Finance as a member of the Income Tax Board of Review in Singapore.
