The litigation and dispute resolution practice at Dentons stands out for its strength in representing regional and multinational corporations and financial institutions across such sectors as food, energy, building materials, banking and telecoms in high-value contentious-administrative claims, debt collection actions and contractual disputes. Seasoned litigator and office managing partner Edgard Torres leads the team. Former labour and litigation department co-head Roberto Montes Doña departed the firm in September 2022, but the practice was bolstered significantly by the hire of Elvis Martínez, the former managing partner of Munguia Vidaurre Law, in June 2023, along with associate María José Mendoza, who is skilled in commercial and administrative tax litigation.

As the Central American branch of global firm Dentons, Dentons is one of the few firms in the region to have an international presence, making it well equipped to handle multi-jurisdictional transactions.
