Position

Sara is the head of the national large loss group, which continues to growq at a rate of 15% year on year, within the overall claims solutions practice of DAC Beachcroft which encompasses claims in excess of £250,000 through to catastrophic injury consisting of multi-million pound claims. The group also includes work undertaken by the SHE team, strategic litigation, complex regional pain syndrome and chronic pain. Sara has been solely responsible for devising the entire strategy of the group which has resulted in a real change of culture within the large loss service line driving up revenue production and greater efficiency. Sara continues to deal with high value catastrophic injury claims in her own right running a very experienced team of support associates and senior lawyers which continues to be praised by clients for the results achieved with the overall saving of indemnity spend. Sara is the lead client partner for Ageas Insurance, acting as catastrophic injury relationship partner for AXA and QBE and secondary roles in support of Zurich, Ecclesiastical and Aviva. She has the largest number of client nominations for catastrophic injury across the claims solutions group.

Qualified 1988; Wansbroughs Willey Hargrave (now DAC Beachcroft LLP) 1988; partner 1994; Regional Senior Partner 2000 – 2005; Head of Catastrophic Injury 2001 – 2009 and again from 2011.
