Sean has been defending clinical negligence claims on behalf of the NHS LA for Trusts across Yorkshire, the North East and North West since 2000. He deals with obstetric cases, specialising in birth injury claims, and cases of maximum severity. In addition, he has handled a number of group actions and advises on metal-on-metal hip claims. Sean is a nominated partner for the NHS LA in the Leeds and Manchester offices. He is a keen advocate holding higher rights of audience in the civil courts. Sean also advises on risk management issues as a result of claims and provides training to NHS legal services and risk manager on this subject.
