Vicky is originally from Hong Kong. She is one of the Mandarin-speaking lawyers in Axiom DWFM’s China Desk. She also masters Cantonese, English, Indonesian and Spanish with professional translation skills. Vicky was promoted to Partner in 2022. Her professional career in Hong Kong prior to becoming a lawyer included: PR & Marketing Manager of a listed jewellery and airport VIP service company, and Court Officer of the Magistrates’ Courts. She has strong global business negotiation abilities and an extensive business network with high-net-worth individuals in Hong Kong, China and South-east Asian countries.

Vicky has wide experience of representing financial institutions, including private banks in Singapore. She is familiar with the banks’ compliance and due diligence requirements. With the increasing needs of Islamic mortgage products, Vicky has excellent relationships with Islamic mortgages providers and their legal representatives, which allows her to proceed with the mortgage fund drawdown efficiently, and smooth completions are assured.
