Position

Bryony is head of the immigration department. Her areas of expertise are the points based scheme and business immigration, family immigration, European Economic Area (EEA) law, nationality, asylum and human rights, and trafficking. Bryony has particular expertise in the points based system and has successfully challenged refusals under Tiers 1 and 2 on appeal. Bryony undertakes work for employers and businesses, both local and national, as well as for individuals. In 2011 Bryony was shortlisted, one of three nominees, for the Legal Aid Practitioners Group (LAPG’s) Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year in Immigration Award 2011 in recognition of her dedicated work and compassion for her clients. Bryony has also provided training to the Legal Ombudsman’s Office in immigration law.

In recent work, she advised an organisation on the suspension and subsequent revocation of Tier 2 and Tier 5 sponsor licences, and assisted an individual with the application to remain as a Tier 1 migrant.
