Career

I am a specialist family lawyer and have worked in family law since I qualified as a Solicitor in 2001. I have experience dealing with the breakdown of all types of relationships and the issues that arise from this including divorce and dissolution of civil partnerships, arrangements for children, injunctions and financial issues. I also have extensive experience in representing children, parents and other extended family members in care proceedings. My priority is to reach an early settlement for clients but in the event that this isn’t possible, I am also a skilled advocate, experienced in representing clients in Court.

I work hard for my clients and take a constructive approach to finding the best solution whilst fighting their corner. I adopt a sympathetic approach and understand how difficult family and relationship breakdowns can be. My aim is to achieve the best possible outcome for my clients. I also understand how important it is for clients to be heard and for them to have control of their case. I have particularly strong communication skills and have been described as extremely professional and knowledgeable.

As a Higher Rights Advocate, I represent my clients at all levels of the Single Family Court. I am also a qualified Family Arbitrator.

Memberships

I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) and the Institute of Family Arbitrators.
