Position
Partner: Howard is a member of our Corporate and commercial team. He provides advice to individuals, companies and industry organisations on a wide range of corporate and commercial issues. Howard particularly specialises in commercial and contract law, copyright, media, entertainment, art and sport. He also advises in relation to all aspects of IT, data protection and e-commerce law including gaming law. Another area Howard focusses on is aviation and shipping law, concentrating primarily on the acquisition, financing and leasing of private executive jets, helicopters and yachts. Howard’s clients include artists, artists’ agents, auction houses, sports individuals and organisations, universities, authors, composers, recording artists, TV and film companies, record companies, hardware and software houses.
Career
Howard trained at Lovell White & King (now Hogan Lovells) qualifying in 1987. Howard was an associate at Harbottle and Lewis, Eatons and Stephens Innocent before joining Collyer Bristow in 1998; becoming a partner in 2001.
