Ian Ginbey - Clyde & Co LLP

Within: Planning

Clyde & Co LLP is praised for providing ‘outstanding’ service. Ian Ginbey heads the team and provides ‘a great breadth of knowledge’ and ‘commercial awareness in negotiations’. Recent work includes advising Corinthian Land Limited on its planning application for a £400m mixed-use urban extension comprising 4,000 dwellings, two primary schools and a new A2 junction south of Canterbury, involving a highly complex s106 agreement. ‘A guru of the ports world’, Brian Greenwood is a ‘tough and doughty fighter for his clients’; he is co-ordinating ABP’s opposition to the Welsh government’s proposals to construct a £1.7bn motorway relief road for the M4 in South Wales; if consent is granted, the proposal will result in the construction of a low six-lane motorway bridge through the middle of the Port of Newport. Stephen Webb is ‘knowledgeable, responsive, and a pleasure to work with’.
