Barry O’Leary joined Wesley Gryk Solicitors in January 2000 and became a partner in the firm on 1 October 2006. His practice deals with the full range of immigration and nationality issues, with a particular emphasis on applications by spouses and civil partners, and asylum on the basis of sexual identity. He frequently represents clients who have entered into international surrogacy agreements. In his spare time, he works as a volunteer lawyer for the UK Lesbian and Gay Immigration Group and sits on the Law Society Immigration Law Committee. He has taught courses for the Immigration Law Practitioners Association for a number of years.
