Career

Marlous de Groot is a Partner in the Banking & Finance Practice Group and is specialised in restructuring and insolvency law.

Marlous has wide experience in restructuring, insolvency and security law. She assists companies in corporate and debt restructurings. Marlous is regularly appointed by the court as trustee in bankruptcy proceedings or as administrator in suspension of payment proceedings. In 2021, Marlous completed the post-academic course ‘PAO Specialisatieopleiding Herstructureringsdeskundige’, which underlines her expertise on the new Dutch Scheme (WHOA). She is well-known for her pragmatic approach in complex restructuring and bankruptcy cases involving multiple parties whilst still keeping sight on the legal angle.
