CMS‘ ‘very experienced, responsive and pragmatic’ tax team occupies a notable niche in its advice to investors and corporate clients in the transport and logistics sectors, where they assist with the structuring of tax arrangements tied to acquisitions, investments and real estate purchases. In addition, the practice is also noted for its expertise in VAT matters and has worked to develop its expertise in the field of contingent tax insurance. The practice is headed jointly by Herman Boersen, whose practice encompasses M&A-related taxes and a niche in W&I tax risk insurance; and Anton Louwinger, who handles a wide range of tax issues tied to corporate transactions, restructuring measures and real estate investments.
