Position

Jens Winter is an attorney-at-law in the field of employment law. He is a partner at CMS and advises national and international companies mainly on questions of individual and collective employment law, data protection law in the area of employment law and company pension law.

He is the author of numerous publications and is frequently asked to lecture on this area of expertise.

He has many years of experience representing national and international clients before courts and public authorities. In addition, he has extensive practical experience in the implementation and realisation of company restructuring and the spin-off or merger of businesses or individual business units in the course of domestic or international transfers of operations. He has also been called on for his employment law expertise in the evaluation and realisation of several domestic and cross-border transactions.

Career

Assistant professor at the Institute of labour and social security law of the University of Vienna (2006-2008), Associate in several law firms, joined CMS Reich-Rohrwig Hainz in 2008; author of numerous publications on labour law;

Jens Winter joined CMS in Vienna in September 2008. After obtaining a doctoral degree with honours from the Faculty of Law at the University of Vienna in 2005, he worked at a law firm in Vienna specialised in labour and employment law. Between 2006 and 2008, he was assistant professor at the Institute for Labour and Social Security Law of the University of Vienna.
