Position

Marcell Clark is a Partner at CMS Vienna and attorney-at-law for Banking & Finance.

He has over 25 years’ experience in cross-border financing and real estate transactions and has represented clients on their most important transactions in the CEE and SEE regions and around the globe. In addition to senior secured and unsecured transactions, he has extensive experience advising on construction and subordinated debt matters as well as real estate investment, agricultural and timber funds in their acquisitions and dispositions.

Career

Previously a partner at Dentons and an associate with Jones Day, New York, Marcell Clark was also an Associate General Counsel at TIAA, one of the largest American pension funds. As in-house advisor to the international and domestic real estate investment and finance teams, he gained special insight on how best to support his clients today. In addition to being a member of the New York bar, Marcell Clark is qualified as a Solicitor, Senior Courts of England and Wales.
