Małgorzata Urbańska is a Polish-qualified legal advisor and a Partner in CMS with over 15 years of professional experience. She heads Consumer Products Sector Focus Group in Central and Eastern Europe and coordinates Competition Group in CMS Poland. Małgorzata specialises in competition law. Her practice comprises anti-trust issues, restrictive agreements, abuse of dominant position, consumer protection and unfair competition. Małgorzata also advises on EU regulations related to the free movement of goods and the compliance of domestic regulations with EU law. She carries out internal compliance audits of businesses and delivers internal training on competition law for personnel at various levels. She is a member of the Competition Law Association. Małgorzata advises businesses from various industry sectors, with a special focus on the consumer products sector, including food and drink and health and beauty companies, as well as the pharmaceutical sector. She is also a regular contributor to the media on competition issues, including her bi-monthly column in the Dziennik Gazeta Prawna (“Law Gazette” daily), as well as a number of her other publications eg. in Polish popular daily Rzeczpospolita. She is also in a forefront of initiatives shaping Polish law, including joint initiatives with the American Chamber of Commerce – in the Chamber Małgorzata is a co-chairperson of the Consumer Products Committee. Małgorzata Urbańska is regularly recommended – also in this years’ edition – in the most important European legal rankings in the area of competition and antitrust (Legal 500, Chambers Europe).

Małgorzata Urbańska leads the public procurement practice at CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang Pośniak i Bejm sp.k..
