Butcher & Barlow LLP is based across its Northwich, Bury and Runcorn offices and the corporate and commercial team delivers ‘excellent response times’. It is experienced in the sale and purchases of companies, with expertise in the care home, brewery industry and hospitality sector. The team advised Onfab on a £3m investment by Foresight and also advised Electrical Project Installations on its sale to KBE Holdings. The ‘very engaging’ Jonathan Aldersley is ‘able to provide a common-sense analysis of matters’ and produces ‘quick, practical and commercial advice’. James Hodgson handles share transactions and advises on company structures and Justin Kelly handles a range of commercial matters. It advised on the £7.25m acquisition of Holmes Chapel Business Park on behalf of the Trustees of the Booth Charities. Fords of Winsford, Liberty SIPP and Throstles Nest Developments are also clients. Sandbach-based John Hyatt heads the team and is ‘clear and concise with his advice’. In Northwich, commercial team head Jonathan Aldersley is praised for his ‘ability to provide strategic solutions’ and  Dianne Mooney is also recommended.
