Carlos Zegarra

Position
Carlos is a founding partner, with 22 years of professional experience in tax advice and foreign trade and customs. He has been an international partner of Deloitte Peru, partner of Gálvez, Risso & Asociados, and senior manager in charge of the Tax Advisory and Procedures Area of KPMG Peru. He’s focused on tax and foreign trade advisory services, local and international tax planning, support in tax and customs inspections, in the sponsorship of administrative and judicial files and in the development and implementation of technological taxation projects.
He is a lawyer from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, with postgraduate studies in international taxation at the Complutense University of Madrid (Madrid, Spain) and the Austral University (Buenos Aires, Argentina), foreign trade and customs at the Administration Institute Tax and Customs (SUNAT) and master’s degree in taxation at PUCP. He is a certified Customs Agent.
