Daniel has extensive experience in the resolution of complex commercial, regulatory and insurance disputes, handling cases before major arbitral institutions and the courts. He represents national and international clients in loss adjustment proceedings involving insurance, reinsurance, corporate and contract issues

Former president of the Association for International Arbitration at Columbia University/NY (CIAA). Member of the Comitê Brasileiro de Arbitragem (CBAR) and the International Insurance Association (AIDA).
Master in Law (LL.M.) from Columbia University/NY, having received the Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and Parker School Recognition of Achievement in International and Comparative Law honorable mentions in recognition for academic achievements.
Currently studying towards a Master’s Degree in Civil Procedural Law at Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Graduated Law school from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio).
Daniel was visiting researcher at the Université Jean Moulin Lyon III, following an invitation from the Institut de Droit Comparé Edouard Lambert.
