With former name partner Herman Chadwick’s appointment as President of Chile’s Centre for Arbitration and Mediation (CAM) in 2018, Chadwick & Reymond reverted to Reymond & Cía. but entered a period of transition. The boutique retains its strong reputation for litigation against the state in relation to public works’ concessions, construction disputes, and conflicts arising from public and private infrastructure. The 10-strong practice group also acts in disputes in the energy, health, real estate and corporate sectors, as well as on family estate matters. The practice is co-led by 30-year disputes veteran, Alfonso Reymond Larraín, and Rodrigo Riquelme Yáñez – fundamentally a public law expert who specializes in litigation and arbitration (domestic and international), related to infrastructure, construction, and private and public concessions. Mid-2019 saw arbitration specialist Diego Fuentes González raised to the partnership and the firm also hired the highly-regarded Adolfo Wegmann (civil responsibility, construction contracts, engineering and infrastructure projects, and associated litigation and arbitration), as a consultant, only to lose Ignacio Vargas Roco   to Dentons Larrain Rencoret at the year’s end. Other key figures include construction and disputes specialist, Camilo Silva Correa. However, with Reymond increasingly focused on acting as an arbitrator, since publication the firm has been reorganised as Riquelme, Silva & Fuentes, wih effect from April 2021.
