Career

Darío Escobar is an associate at CorralRosales. He develops his practice in the firm´s Corporate Practice. 
 
His work includes absolving queries on essential corporate matters of companies. He assists in mergers, divisions, reactivations, liquidation of companies, among others. He also provides assistance in the preparation, structuring, drafting and review of contracts, due diligence processes, review of corporate books as well as support in public procurement processes for clients. He has advised both, national and international companies in different processes of contractual negotiations. Before joining CorralRosales, he acquired experience in several areas of law in prestigious firms in Ecuador. 
 
In addition, during his career, Darío has provided professional advice to renowned multinational companies in the automotive, telecommunications and mass consumption industries, serving as an in-house lawyer in charge of the day-to-day legal issues required by companies. 
 
Darío has a broad formation with national and international certifications in the areas of control, transparency, anti-corruption, compliance and corporate governance, which allows him to provide advice to our clients in the development and monitoring of internal policies and compliance regulations.

Education

Darío graduated from Universidad de las Américas of Ecuador and is currently pursuing a post-graduate degree in Corruption Control and Prevention Law at Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar (Ecuador). In addition, he has participated in various international courses, among which his participation in the program “US Business Law for the International Practitioner” carried out by University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School stands out.
