Eduardo Talamini has been a qualified lawyer since 1993 and in 1994 he became a partner at Justen, Pereira Oliveira & Talamini. Talamini is currently a Civil Procedure and Arbitration Professor at the Federal University of Paraná, nationally recognized as a leading authority in the field. Talamini’s extensive expertise in Civil Procedure – with professorship status also at USP – University of São Paulo – Arbitration and Constitutional Law alongside with a long list of publications resulted in clients frequently requesting his legal opinion in the subjects. He constantly acts as counsel, arbitrator or consultant in litigation, arbitration and transactions involving domestic and international parties in infrastructure projects in Brazil, with focus on public procurement, civil construction services and supplies, telecommunications, government franchises and PPPs, sanitation, water supply and energy. Talamini is a member of several international civil procedure associations and was the vice-president of the Arbitration Chamber of the Federation of Industries of the State of Paraná – CAMFIEP from 2011 to 2017, and he is the head of the Civil Procedure Post-Graduate Program at Instituto Bacellar since 2002.
