Carlos has broad experience in the financial sector as an in-house attorney at various local banks (1995-2000 and 2007-2008) and as a consultant in the Special Situations area in the Inter-American Investment Corporation, the financial wing of the IADB (Washington D.C. 2001-2002).

He served as counsel (2008-2018) and Manager of Internal Control and Compliance (2012-2016) at Moneda Asset Management, where he provided direct counsel to clients on fund creation, business, transactions, and operations conducted by funds managed by the fund management subsidiary of that entity in Chile and abroad.
