Mr Gabriel Manica Mendes de Sena
Gabriel Manica co-heads the CBSG tax litigation team in Rio de Janeiro, working at the municipal, state and federal levels, both in the administrative and judicial spheres (including the Federal Supreme Court and Superior Tribunal of Justice). Gabriel also provides tax consultation and planning.
He has been with the firm since April 2005. Gabriel graduated in law and completed a postgraduate course in tax accounting, both at Rio de Janeiro Federal University (UFRJ). Between 2013 and 2015, Gabriel was a councilor with the Administrative Tax Court of the Federal District (TARF/DF).
The International Tax Review recognized him four times as one of the Brazilian tax controversy leaders (2013, 2014, 2016 and 2017) and once as one of the leaders in the indirect tax area in Brazil (2017).
