For more than thirty years, Yves has been advising Mexican and foreign investors in mergers & acquisitions, financing transactions and corporate matters in Mexico and Latin America. He is widely recognised as one of LatAm’s leading experts on insurance and reinsurance, climate governance and sustainability. He is the managing partner of NHG’s pioneering London office, advising insurance and reinsurance companies, law firms, family offices and international corporations, multinationals and Governments in their operations in Mexico and Latin America, and leads NHG’s (Re)Insurance Practice, as well as its Sustainable Transition/ESG Working Group.

The team’s dense client roster spans sectors ranging from tech, energy and healthcare to insurance, banking and real estate; with recent headline matters include advising Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Estate Assets on the bidding process to acquire three solar power generation plants (in Mexico) owned by Reden Holding – a deal valued at E2.5bn; and Grupo Murano on a joint venture for the development of real estate properties in Mexico City and Cancún worth over $1bn.
