A particular focus lies on due diligence processes and business operation advice. The group is led by a trio of partners: Oscar Samour, Diego Martín and Maria Alejandra Tulipano. Samour has key experience in large transactions on a domestic and regional level, while Martín is skilled in insurance law, international trade and foreign investment, and Tulipano focuses on regulated sectors such as new technologies, energy and natural resources. Tax Tier 2

General tax consultancy, international tax planning, customs law and transfer pricing are the focus of the tax practice at Consortium Legal. Well equipped to handle municipal as well as governmental tax litigation, practice head Diego Martín-Menjívar and key associate William Escobar further assist the firm's corporate practice with tax advice on transactions. Martín-Menjívar is also familiar with tax and customs litigation at the administrative and judicial level, and Escobar defends clients in procedures related to internal, customs and municipal tax sanctions. Furthermore, the group advises domestic and multinational clients on tax management, audits and tax inspections.
