Mr. Torres Lemus is a founding partner at LatinAlliance. He has ample experience in the field of Salvadoran Law and is noted for having participated in important merger and acquisition processes, such as the Grupo Banistmo purchase of the Inversiones Financieras Bancosal, S.A. conglomerate; the acquisition carried out by Banco G&T Continental de Guatemala of the Banco Americano, S.A. conglomerate; HSBC’s purchase of Grupo Banistmo and Inversiones Financieras Bancosal, S.A.; the purchase of insurance companies carried out in Central America by Aseguradora Mundial, today known as Mapfre, and other important operations in the Central American area.

Also, he has participated in the purchase of stock brokerage houses, in structuring syndication of credits, and in securitizations and authorizations for the country’s regulatory entities.

He is a an advisor for banks, insurance companies and other financial entities.
