Career
Mr. Carpentier has over 12 years of experience in commercial and corporate counselling for local and foreign companies, especially in project finance, M&A, reorganization and restructuring agreements, issuance, and placement of corporate bonds (local and cross-border), and commercial and financial transactions, especially in energy and infrastructure projects.
He has vast experience in M&A transactions and project finance, particularly related to renewable power plants (Eolic, PV, CSP, hydro), conventional power plants (coal, diesel, gas), and high voltage transmission lines.
Mr. Carpentier is a Professor of Commercial Law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile’s School of Law since 2015. He also worked as visiting international attorney at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, NY, USA (2017-2018).
