Head of TozziniFreire’s Energy Practice Group and co-head of the firm’s Defense and Aerospace Practice. His thorough understanding of the technical aspects of his clients’ work helps him in the structuring of M&A transactions, an area which he has significant experience in due diligence investigations, risk analysis, and in negotiations over acquisition or subscription agreements. Pedro advises clients on all aspects of energy project development in connection with both traditional and renewable sources. His work includes corporate and regulatory issues and the structuring of financing agreements and project contracts, such as PPAs, EPCs, fuel and equipment supply agreements, and O&M contracts. He also assists international clients in the negotiations with governmental military entities and local industry in defense and aerospace matters. Pedro joined TozziniFreire in 1990, and worked as a foreign associate at the New York office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP from 1996 to 1998.


Joined TozziniFreire in 1998. Pedro became partner in 2000.
