Nic Hart provides clients with commercial and business-focused employment advice on
both contentious and non-contentious issues. Nic, who leads Steptoe's London
Employment practice, has particular experience managing organized labor and trade
disputes arising under trade union recognition and acts for significant manufacturers,
upscale professional contracting firms, and clients in the logistics sector.

During his career, Nic has advised on all aspects of UK employment law, including
executive dismissal, high value settlement agreements, complex team moves, as well as
injunctions, competition issues, Trade Union and organized labor disputes, and tribunal
litigation.

He is described by the Legal 500 UK 2015 & 2016 as an ”acute and commercial strategist”
and an ”erudite, responsive and proactive” lawyer who leads Steptoe’s “excellent” team.
