Career

Alfredo has been a partner at the firm since 2002 and is a leading practitioner in the fields of real estate, corporate and project development investment. He provides legal and business advise to multinational and Mexican companies in all types of corporate transactions involving joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances, lease agreements, restructuring contracts, project financing, investments, public bids, and regulatory issues in general.

Alfredo’s work includes active representation of diverse clients from a wide variety of industries in multi-million-dollar transactions and investments in the areas of real estate, energy, electricity generation, and structuring of foreign investment transactions, franchise, compliance, money laundering, data privacy and projects for their consolidation in Mexico. Alfredo has also counselled major energy and oil-related consortiums in public bids.

He also leads the firm’s immigration practice and has experience providing advice to national and foreign companies on Mexican immigration and relocation for expats, their families, and other individuals in relation to their immigration status.
