Career

Antonio De Lisi has over 12 years of experience in cross-border and domestic financings, energy and infrastructure development transactions and mergers and acquisitions.

His practice is focused on cross-border and domestic financing transactions, including project, corporate, trade and structured financings, and the representation of private and public sector entities in cross-border and domestic joint venture and project development transactions, including in connection with the structuring of and participation in public tenders for major energy and infrastructure projects and the negotiation of joint venture and other investor agreements, commercial supply and off-take agreements, operating agreements, and engineering, procurement and construction contracts. He also represents clients in mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations and other strategic investments.

In highlight work the team advised: Citigroup, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, BNP Paribas, JPMorgan Chase, The Bank of Nova Scotia, Citibank and Banamex, as joint lead arrangers of a $1.256bn credit agreement to finance the acquisition of InterGen’s projects in Mexico (totalling 2,200 MWs) by private equity fund Actis;  major mining player Grupo Mexico on an HSBC-led $147m refinancing of existing loan facilities for several of the client’s subsidiaries; and regular client Bancomext on a $53m financing granted to Inmobiliaria Insurgentes 421 for the development of a new 415-room hotel in Mexico City.
