Leopoldo has over 30 years of experience in the environmental field, in all aspects of environmental and natural resources law with particular strengths in regulatory, due diligence and project development while advising clients in sophisticated cross-border transactions with the environmental and social impact component.

He advises clients from different industries, with matters related with water, waste management, atmospheric pollution, environmental impact, climate change, land, mining, forestry, social impact, and all aspects of environmental litigation and dispute resolution.

Leopoldo is consistently invited to participate as speaker at the International Bar Association’s (IBA) Conferences and is an active member in the environmental committees of national legal associations including the Mexican Bar Association (BMA) and the National Corporate Counsel Association (ANADE).

He has been recognized by the Legal 500 as leading lawyer in the Environment field.
