Chilean member firm of the Multilaw and World Law Group international networks, Urenda, Rencoret, Orrego y Dörr fields a 22-strong corporate and M&A department that is well-known for advising on M&A transactions, shareholder agreements, joint ventures and corporate restructurings. It also provides general corporate assistance to major local and international companies on a day-to-day basis. Gonzalo Rencoret, who focuses primarily on corporate advisory and M&A, capital markets and financing, and Sergio Orrego, whose broad practice encompasses corporate M&A, financing, capital markets, energy and mining, co-head the department. In addition to day-to-day matters and the management of real estate projects, Urenda, Rencoret, Orrego y Dörr‘s five-strong real estate department is best known for real estate development, including due diligence processes, joint ventures, purchase and construction agreements, financing, obtaining administrative permits, and real estate sales. Experienced partners Gonzalo Errázuriz (due diligence; joint venture, purchase and construction agreements; project finance; administrative permits and authorizations, and real estate sales), and Felipe Rencoret , who made partner in 2017, co-lead the practice; Errázuriz acts as an adviser to several real estate companies’ directorial boards, while Rencoret’s practice extends into both project finance and construction; he has longstanding experience in the sector.
Urenda, Rencoret, Orrego y Dörr‘s 10-strong team is experienced in the development and financing of projects, such as power generation (particularly NCRE), mining, infrastructure and real estate. Sergio Orrego has over 30 years’ experience in the development of complex industrial, infrastructure, mining and energy projects. Also key to the group at partner level are real estate project specialist Gonzalo Errázuriz; Ignacio Urrutia, who provides environmental law support; and projects and infrastructure expert, Felipe Rencoret.
