Career

Nicolás Yuraszeck has been Partner since 2020. He joined the Firm in 2009.

He is part of the Corporate Law team of the Firm, focused on infrastructure and construction projects, energy and natural resources, project finance, corporate law, mergers and acquisitions. In recent years, he has been involved in several infrastructure projects, M&A transactions and project finance in the nergy and natural resources sectors, especially in tender processes and contract negotiations of BOT, BOO, EPC, BoP and O&M, complementing his strong expertise in these fields with his postgraduate studies in tax law and finance.

He also has experience in Mergers and Acquisitions, advising clients in different areas, including energy, food, retail, among others. Additionally, he is part of the Antitrust team, in which he participates in the merger control studies and filings before the Fiscalía Nacional Económica (Chilean Antitrust Prosecutor).

He studied law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, earning his law degree with two distinction votes in 2007. He also completed a Master degree in Tax Administration and Management at Universidad Adolfo Ibañez (2012-2013) and a MSc in Law and Finance at Queen Mary University of London in 2016.

He worked at CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang (2016), where he worked in the construction group. Also, during 2017 he worked as a foreign lawyer at the Capital Markets group of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton (London), where he was involved in several capital markets and M&A transactions.

He is a member of the Chilean Bar Association.
