Position

Martín Gastaldi is a partner of Beccar Varela and the head of its Bankruptcy Department. His practice areas include complex litigation in both civil and commercial trials and disputes, rehabilitation banckruptcy (Chapter11), liquidation bankruptcy (Chapter7) and debt restructurings.

Career

Martin Gastaldi has been a partner of Beccar Varela since 2008. He started his career at the firm in 1997.

He has represented domestic and foreign clients in complex litigation and corporate reorganizations as attorney for corporations and large local and international banks, as well as disputes over ineffective operations, extensions to bankruptcy and liability actions. He has  been involved in complex disputes related to various industries, such as contract disputes, corporate, family, damages, agency and distribution contracts, banking and guarantees, among others. He also provides legal advice in corporate issues, commercial matters and insolvency of local and foreign companies registered and operating in Argentina.

He is the Deputy Bankruptcy Professor at the Universidad Catolica Argentina (2013 to date) and of the Securities and Exchange LL.M classes (2014).
