Career

Liban Kusa is Partner of the Tax Department. He specializes in Tax and Customs matters, mainly in the contentious area, leading the defense strategy for cases related with relevant claims filed by the Tax Authorities (at national and provincial levels). He also advises in municipal tax matters.

Prior to joining the Firm in 2004, he was member of the Gutman law firm, acting as tax payer’s attorney for the defense, in litigious matters concerning national, provincial and municipal issues. He rendered general-taxation legal services. He was also member of the Negri & Teijeiro law firm, where he mainly continued with his career in contentious-tax jurisdiction.

Mr. Kusa received a law degree from the Law School of the University of Buenos Aires in 1997.

Since 2005, Mr. Kusa has been repeatedly recognized by different local and international magazines—specialized in his area of practice—as one of the most distinguished lawyers in tax matters.
