Mr. Beretervide is partner of the Litigation, International Arbitration & Bankruptcy department.

In his daily practice, he focuses on providing advice and representation to clients in complex legal matters, as transactional and pre-litigious advice. In addition, Martin has been involved in many arbitral litigations.

Before joining the Firm in 2008, he has worked for almost 10 years in the commercial courts of the Judicial Power, where he successively acted—among others—as relator at the Board under the Commercial Chamber, as Clerk of Commercial Court Nº9 -Secretariat Nº17- (2005/06), and Clerk of Room “E” of the Chamber (2006/2008).

Mr. Beretervide obtained a law degree from the Universidad de Buenos Aires, Law School in 2002.

He has a vast experience in commercial litigation in bankruptcy and corporate matters.

The team handles administrative and judicial court work, and is especially well-known for the depth of its arbitration practice, which clients call on for support in complex international arbitration proceedings under ICC, ICSID, and UNCITRAL rules, as well as the recognition and enforcement of international arbitration decisions before Argentine courts. Other work includes matters coming before the permanent tribunal sitting at the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange and advice on designing legal structures and preventative scenarios in the face of potential conflicts.
