Career

Mr. Lozano specializes in corporate law with most of his expertise focused on mergers and acquisitions, and competition and antitrust law.

He leads the Firm’s Competition & Antitrust Law practice.

Prior to joining the Firm, he was the Legal Counsel of Syngenta in LAS (Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay) from 2015 to 2018. In this position, he played a major role in the acquisition of Syngenta by ChemChina and in the acquisition of Nidera by Syngenta, both particularly focused in antitrust matters. In addition, in his daily practice he provided legal advice in litigation matters, corporate, contracts, data protection, trademarks and patents, labor and regulatory law.

Moreover, Gabriel also worked as senior associate in Marval, O’ Farrell & Mairal for more than 16 years, of which 8 years he dedicated, mainly, to competition and antitrust matters; also, he was a foreign associate at the Brazilian law firm Demarest Advogados from 2004 to 2007.
