Diane Flannery, chair of the McGuireWoods Products, Environmental & Mass Tort Litigation Department, has tried complex products liability cases in federal and state courts. She also has litigated a variety of class action and multidistrict (MDL) litigation matters, including recently having been lead counsel in two MDLs pending in the rocket docket of the Eastern District of Virginia. During her 30 years of practice, she has had extensive experience coordinating and managing large-scale defense efforts that involved hundreds of cases pending in different jurisdictions.

Displaying a ‘thorough approach to engagements’, which includes a detailed knowledge of the substantive and procedural law, McGuireWoods LLP provides ‘educated and strategic advice’ to manufacturers across a range of consumer-facing products throughout the life cycle of their litigation.
