Professional with experience in regulatory law (focusing on mining and energy), corporate law, M&A and contracts.

In the area of Projects, Banking and Natural Resources, Antonio assists clients in preparing legal opinions, contracts and other consultations involving the structuring, implementation, regularization and operation of infrastructure projects. Antonio has experience in conducting administrative proceedings before various regulatory authorities, especially Ministry of Mines and Energy – MME, National Mining Agency – ANM, National Electric Energy Agency – Aneel and National Institute of Colonization and Agrarian Reform – INCRA. In addition, he assists clients in participating in auctions by drafting, reviewing and negotiating regulated contracts, as well as project finance and engineering contracts (EPC, BOT and O&M). Antonio also participates in conducting due diligences (M&A), with emphasis on contractual, corporate, environmental and regulatory issues, as well as drafting, reviewing and negotiating transaction agreements and ancillary documents, including the improvement of representations & warranties, covenants, conditions to closing and disclosure schedules.

Antonio also has complementary experience in matters involving intellectual property, copyright and data protection.
