Mr. Verzoni is the office managing partner for the Firm’s Porto Alegre office and a corporate and transactional lawyer focused primarily on mergers and acquisitions. He has broad experience in structuring and negotiating acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures for clients across a variety of commercial and industrial sectors. Clients often rely on Mr. Verzoni’s varied Brazilian legal experience, his skills, and international exposure to efficiently structure and complete complex deals or transactions. Fernando has also relevant experience in cross-border transactions, both in inbound and outbound transactions, in coordination with international and local law firms.

Mr. Verzoni also has a significant commercial contracts practice, both domestic and cross-border, involving preparation and negotiation of agreements for, among others, the supply of equipment for construction in infrastructure projects and industrial facilities, export/import of commodities and other goods, establishment of consortia, project finance and other financing transactions involving local and foreign financial institutions. He regularly advises companies across a broad range of industries including renewable energy and fuels, agribusiness and other industries.
