Guilherme Monteiro has joined the firm in 2003 and has more than fifteen years’ experience in the practice of Corporate Law and Contracts, with a primary focus in Mergers & Acquisitions, Securities Regulations, Banking & Finance, Private Equity, Venture Capital and Infrastructure Projects.

M&A transactions involving tech companies also feature in the team’s portfolio. Guilherme Ohanian Monteiro, who has a strong transactional background, is counsel of choice for founders, VC and CVC funds, corporations and banks seeking advice on investment rounds in Brazil and involving offshore structures; he is also proficient in fund formation and tech-related M&A. He co-leads the department with Daniel Augusto Malatesta, who was promoted to the partnership in 2022, and is a name to note for start-ups, investors and established tech companies. Lior Pinsky, who oversees the private equity group, has recently advised on VC financings as well as venture-backed M&A.
