Eugene Phajane is a partner in the Employment, Health and Safety Practice at Webber Wentzel.

He specialises in all aspects of employment law in the mining industry.  He also has a keen interest in the Mine Health and Safety Act, No 29 of 1996 (MHSA) and represents mining houses at investigations and inquiries in terms of the MHSA.  He also represents mining houses against criminal prosecutions relating to breaches of the MHSA.

Eugene provides training on the MHSA and OHSA. He also handles civil litigations in both the Magistrate’s and High Courts
