Merlita is a commercial dispute resolution and litigation specialist. She has extensive experience advising on mining, insurance, medical and healthcare law related matters. Merlita also advises on business crimes and related investigations.

In terms of her industry knowledge into the mining sector, Merlita was seconded for a year to one of the leading South African Mining Houses’ Group Legal team. During her time on secondment she helped the client develop an expedited dispute resolution model to facilitate the speedy and efficient resolution of their legal disputes.
