Career

Andrew Pike heads Bowmans’ Ports, Rail and Logistics Sector.

He acts for clients in due diligence investigations, risk assessments, transactions and shipping-related litigation. He drafts and comments on regulations, trading terms, throughput agreements and transport legislation. He lectures at the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, the South African Maritime Safety Authority and the University of KwaZulu-Natal.

Andrew is a fellow of the Institute of Risk Management of SA; past-president of the Maritime Law Association of SA; and past Board member of the Ports Regulator of SA.

He has BA and LLB degrees from the University of the Witwatersrand.
