Jerrold F. Goldberg has been practicing in virtually all aspects of labor and employment law since 1979, including the traditional labor/union-management area, employment discrimination, executive employment, severance agreements, and wage and hour laws. He represents management clients in diverse enterprises, including the health care, entertainment, hotel, restaurant, building service, construction, retail, and service industries in matters ranging from state and federal administrative proceedings, drafting personnel policy manuals, and discrimination issues such as sexual harassment and the Americans with Disabilities Act, to employment agreements and restrictive covenant litigation.

Greenberg Traurig, LLP's team is well integrated in the international network and also works closely with the firm's other departments, in particular the corporate group. The team is jointly led by Naomi Beer, James Boudreau and David Long-Daniels, based in Denver, Philadelphia and Atlanta respectively. San Francisco-based Charles Birenbaum is assisting Hornblower Cruises in its expanding transportation project regarding the negotiations with organized labor to staff the system. Jerrold Goldberg in New York is regularly engaged as the transactional labor counsel by SL Green Realty. Terence McCourt is a noted practitioner in Boston. Michael Mason re-joined the firm in Phoenix from Pinnacle West Capital Corporation in April 2018; another new arrival is counsel Alicia Sienne Voltmer in Dallas, who came from Lillard Wise Szygenda PLLC in September 2018.

Greenberg Traurig LLP advises clients on how to be compliant with federal, state and local employment laws in a variety of areas, and is particular noted for its 'rock-solid knowledge of OSHA rules and practices'. Washington DC-based Johnine Barnes assisted Profit Investment Management with corporate restructuring, compliance issues and diversification. Jerrold Goldberg in New York counsels Hello & Hola Media and Sunday Sky on a broad range of employment-related matters. Philadelphia's Kelly Dobbs Bunting handled manager, discrimination and harassment training for GTL. Michael Taylor in McLean is 'exceptionally talented at crafting solutions to OSHA-related problems'. Kelly Dobbs Bunting in Philadelphia and Tiffany Fordyce in Chicago jointly lead the labor and employment practice’s workforce compliance and regulatory enforcement group. New Jersey-based Kristine Feher is also noted. Michael Mason re-joined the firm in Phoenix in April 2018 from Pinnacle West Capital Corporation, and of counsel Alicia Voltmer was a new arrival to the Dallas office, coming from Lillard Wise Szygenda PLLC in September 2018.
