Robert EpsteinGreenberg Traurig LLP

Greenberg Traurig LLP assists clients from initial conception of projects through delivery and any subsequent dispute resolution, acting for developers, owners and contractors. Robert Epstein and Michael Thomas co-chair the construction practice from New Jersey and Miami respectively. Both are equally adept at transactional or contentious matters; Epstein recently acted for State Farm Insurance Company in pursuing claims against subcontractors and designers for alleged defective construction, while Thomas is acting for The Related Group, the developer of a Sunny Isles Beach luxury residential tower with a value of over $1bn. In the latter, Thomas was assisted by shareholder Christopher Barnett and associates Julia Jeffrey, Graham Smith and Nicole Sohn, all of the Miami office. From the New Jersey office, shareholder Jacqueline Greenberg Vogt acted alongside Epstein in the defense of Dormitory Association of the State of New York against actions by a contractor seeking damages for alleged wrongful termination and delays. Fellow New Jersey-based shareholder David Jensen is also noted.
