Career

Francisco joined the Firm in 2006 and has focused his practice on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), financings and general corporate matters. He has participated in several major domestic and cross-border acquisitions, joint-ventures, tender offers and other investments in a wide range of sectors, representing buyers, sellers, private equity funds and other Mexican and foreign investors. He has also been involved in several equity offerings (IPOs and follow-on’s) and debt issuances in Mexico and other markets.

Francisco obtained his law degree from Universidad Iberoamericana and an LL.M. degree from Columbia University, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. From 2012 to 2014 he was an associate in the New York office of Sullivan & Cromwell LLP.

Francisco is admitted to practice in Mexico and New York.
