Position
Guy is of counsel in the Maples and Calder’s Funds & Investment Management team in the Maples Group’s British Virgin Islands office. He advises on the structuring, formation and financing of regulated and unregulated vehicles, hedge funds and private equity funds. Guy also has a broad range of corporate finance transactional experience including private and public acquisitions and disposals, private equity, joint ventures, shareholder relations, stock exchange listings, financing and banking arrangements and corporate governance.
Career
Guy joined the Maples Group in 2013 having previously worked for six years in the corporate finance team at Pennington Manches LLP in London. He also acted as in-house counsel while on secondment to British American Tobacco and Home Retail Group in the UK. Guy has been recognised as a leading lawyer in IFLR1000.
